Konica Minolta 3D Scanners: High Precision Instruments for Dimensional Measurement Demands

3D Scanners By Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta 3D laser scanners are instruments with high-accuracy, designed to measure the three-dimensional shape of subjects, including press-formed parts, plastic parts, cast parts, casting, forging, molded plastics part production, and the requirements of other industrial processes. The possibilities of non-contact measurement has opened up with Konica Minolta’s new non-contact 3D scanning, with further operability, reliability, and transportability of controls and optical technologies. As a global leader in the field of luminance meters, illuminance meters, and colorimeters, Konica Minolta has put its proven expertise and experience into our line of 3D scanning and measurement devices. Please take a moment to learn about our scanner products listed below.

The Range 5 3D Laser Scanner

A instrument for the high-accuracy measurement of three-dimensional shapes, particularly for the casting and sheet metal stamping industries. An economical solution for non-contact 3D measurement, this 3D scanner delivers the same performance and high quality users expect from the rest of Konica Minolta’s scanner line.

Vivid 910 3D Laser Scanner

Using light-sectioning technology, this 3D scanner uses a beam to scan a workpiece. Reflected light is acquired by a CCD camera and 3D data is created by triangulation to determine distance measurements. The high-accuracy calculation of 3D data with the Vivid 910 3D laser scanner ensures precision for color image and distance data.

Vivid 9I 3D Laser scanner

Well suited for dimensional measurement demands from many industrial processes, this high precision 3D laser scanner is suited for processes including casting, forging, dies, sheet metal, and molded part production of plastics. An improved measurement algorithm and new hardware design provide 4x the measurement accuracy of previous models. Enabling measurement of objects formed by molding, pressing, or casting, such as automobile parts, the Vivid 91 3D laser scanner offers the exactness and certitude professionals demand.

The Range 7 3D Laser Scanner

Utilizing new megapixel sensors that detect finely detailed shapes, the Konica Minolta 3D scanners achieve the highest level of guaranteed accuracy for non-contact 3D measurement instruments. Designed for on-site use, The RANGE 7 3D laser scanner has been minimizing temperature changes, the influence of instrument tilt, and other measurement variables to ensure high reliability and actual-use environments, such as factories. With its lightweight and compact design, the Range 7 3D laser scanner is just half the weight and size of previous models.
