Akan tetapi, tampilan visual dua permukaan dapat berbeda meskipun hasil pembacaan kilapnya sama. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan alat pengukur kilap dalam mendeteksi <a href=\"https:\/\/sensing.konicaminolta.asia\/id\/advances-in-gloss-measurement\/\">tekstur permukaan halus<\/a> yang dapat dilihat oleh mata kita.<\/p>\n<p>Selain kilap, parameter seperti Peak Specular Reflectance (RSpec) dapat memberikan gambaran kilap dan kualitas permukaan yang lebih baik. RSpec adalah nilai kilap puncak yang diukur pada sudut spekular. Nilai ini sangat sensitif terhadap tekstur permukaan dan digunakan untuk menentukan kehalusan permukaan.<\/p>\n<p>Bila nilai RSpec mendekati atau sama dengan nilai kilap yang diukur pada geometri 20\u00b0, ini menunjukkan permukaan yang halus. Bila perbedaan antara nilai kilap dan RSpec semakin besar, tekstur pada permukaan menjadi jelas.<\/p>\n<p>Pada contoh di bawah, kita dapat melihat bahwa sampel B memiliki pembacaan kilap yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan sampel A.
