RELEASE OF THE LATEST FIRMWARE FOR KONICA MINOLTA PORTABLE SPECTROPHOTOMETERS

Enhancing Measurement Reliability, Evaluation Capability, and Usability in Daily Operations.
Singapore, 16 March 2026

Konica Minolta Sensing Singapore is pleased to announce the release of the latest firmware for our portable spectrophotometers. This update covers several models and introduces improvements aimed at enhancing measurement stability, evaluation accuracy, and overall operational usability.

Applicable models:
CM‑26dG / CM‑26d / CM‑25d / CM‑17d / CM‑16d / CM‑25cG / CM‑M6

The latest firmware introduces additional capabilities to support a broader range of color measurement requirements. These include a remote color difference display mode and expanded compatibility with additional light sources and evaluation indices. Improvements have also been made to user calibration procedures and the on-instrument display interface, enabling users to review and interpret measurement results more efficiently directly from the device.

In addition, this firmware release incorporates enhanced security features to further support reliable data handling and device management.

Additional resources are available for several of the newly supported evaluation indices—Blackness, Jetness, and Undertone—as well as for the expanded support for CIE LED illuminants. For more information, please refer to the resources below.
