KONICA MINOLTA TO LAUNCH PROPRIETARY COMPUTER COLOR MATCHING SOFTWARE IN SUMMER 2026
A Next-Generation Color Formulation Solution with High-Precision Hardware Integration and Comprehensive Support
Singapore, 2 April 2026
Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced the upcoming launch of its proprietary Computer Color Matching (CCM) software, scheduled for release in summer 2026.

The new software is a next-generation CCM platform that combines highly accurate color matching, seamless integration with Konica Minolta’s color measurement instruments, and an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI). Comprehensive support is available from implementation through daily operation.
In recent years, demand for advanced color management has increased across various industries, including automotive, electrical and electronic equipment, smartphones, cosmetics, coatings, plastics, and construction materials, as manufacturers strive for higher quality standards and greater production efficiency. Building on its extensive expertise in color measurement instruments and color management solutions, Konica Minolta is developing CCM software to address the growing challenges of color formulation in manufacturing environments.
In the development and manufacturing of coatings and plastics, color formulation is a critical process for achieving target colors, and its accuracy and efficiency directly affect productivity and cost. The new CCM software helps reduce the number of trial iterations, shorten formulation time, and improve color consistency, supporting higher productivity and stable quality in color formulation operations.
Key Features and Benefits
Powerful Algorithm
Advanced color matching algorithms improve the accuracy of initial formulation calculations, enabling users to achieve target colors with fewer trials and reduced development time. In addition, enhanced correction functions allow users to leverage existing formulation data and past production results, further optimizing formulation performance.
Seamless Integration with Konica Minolta Measurement Instruments
The CCM software is designed for high compatibility with Konica Minolta’s color measurement instruments, integrating measurement, analysis, and formulation into a unified workflow. This hardware–software integration enhances reproducibility and reliability while supporting consistent color management in manufacturing environments.
User-Friendly GUI
To address the complexity often associated with conventional CCM software, Konica Minolta’s new CCM software features a modern and intuitive GUI. The streamlined design enables users of all experience levels to become proficient quickly, reducing training time and facilitating smooth adoption and operation in manufacturing environments.
Comprehensive Support for Implementation and Operation
Through regionally rooted support organizations, Konica Minolta provides comprehensive assistance from system implementation and onboarding to ongoing operation and after-sales service. By integrating color measurement instruments, software, and expert technical support, the company delivers a complete color management solution that provides long-term value to customers.
By utilizing computer color matching technology, Konica Minolta aims to support improvements in product quality and business operations while reinforcing its leadership in the color measurement market.
