(Discontinued) CS-1000A/S/T Spectroradiometer (spectral type)
Portable high-precision Spectroradiometer
Konica Minolta CS-1000A/S/T spectroradiometer color meters are crafted to be portable and easy to use. These color meters measure the brightness and color of light. The series offers a wide selection of models that are ideal for a vast array of applications from simple tristimulus units to Spectroradiometer with spectral lenses.
Areas of application
Konica Minolta incident color meters can measure practically anything that illuminates. The uses for these color meters are endless including but not limited to research, development, and production.
The CS-1000 Spectroradiometer provides the measurement of luminance, chromaticity, spectral power distribution, and correlated color temperature of display devices, light sources, and contact-free measurements of reflective specimens. Konica Minolta’s CS-1000 is portable and designed to accurately measure the electromagnetic radiation anywhere in the visible spectrum. An advanced resolution photodiode cell captures 380 nm to 780nm in 0.9nm wavelength intervals with impressive accuracy. The CS series is perfect for absolute measurements of florescent lamps, LEDs, LCDs, TFT monitors, and others. These color meters have a less than 5% polarization error rate courtesy of a special light wave conductor optic. There are time current measurements and an electrically cooled sensor which optimizes the signal to noise relationship lending itself to solid repeatability and measurement precision even with extreme dark light sources.
The single lens reflex (SLR) optic system provides precise targeting while ensuring a parallax free view. Viewfinder imaging displays the actual light measurement as it reaches the sensor at a 1° angle via a hole in the mirror, a process commonly referred to as the measurement peripheral. This process eliminates polarization problems resulting from vibrations or bean distributors by a moving mirror. Photometric and radiant physical values are revealed on a large display. Fifty sets of data can be held within the memory while reserving twenty sets for as reference values for difference measurements.
The CS-1000A Model
The CS-1000A possesses two lenses as part of its standard configuration; one 50mm standard lens and a 50mm macro lens ideal for measuring small subjects. There are also two additional lenses along with an array of accessories available for special tasks. For premium accuracy, Konica Minolta includes the lenses used during the device’s calibration which are matched to the device through serial numbers.
The CS-1000S Small Area Model
The CS-1000S has been developed by Konica Minolta for the express purpose of measuring small areas and objects such as backlit symbols on switches and keys. This device comes with a 1x-3x zoom lens that allows for measurements starting as small as 0.45mm in diameter making this device perfect to minute areas.
The CS-1000T Small Angle Model
The CS-1000T is great for measuring long distance small areas; like hot objects. This device incorporates a 0.14° measurement angle that precisely measures areas of only 1.2mm from and up to a half meter away while distances of two meters away result in a measurement area of 1cm.
