(Discontinued) CC-100 / CC-110 CRT Color Analyzer
Highly Accurate Convergence-Meters for CRT Computer Monitors
The image quality of a color monitor is influenced by the precision in which a CRT tube’s electron radiation strikes the phosphors. Blurriness and color borders are telling signs of poor convergence which is easily remedied with the use of CRT color analyzers and convergence meters. Konica Minolta’s convergence meters quickly and easily measure correctly the convergence allowing for an objective, rapid inspection of service and production. To assist in data visualization and archiving, optional Windows software is available upon request.
Convergence Meters for Monitors
The CC-100 CRT Color Analyzer is ideal for use with monitors that have a phosphor pitch of 0.21mm to 0.52m. This device uses a highly developed color CCD inside compact receptor head which captures measurement position of optics passing the signals on to the main instrument. Once the main instrument receives the data, the image editing software then locates the brightness centers of green, red, and blue pixels which are then displayed on a large, illuminated screen showing the spacing as a misconvergence. Final control analysis in a task with two selectable tolerance areas can be performed faster and with greater ease while LEDs indicate the transgressions.
The convergence analysis works exceptionally well with dot, crosshatch, horizontal, or vertical line test patterns while reference colors are user’s choice. An external monitor can be used to control the CCD image, also known as the measuring point. The synchronization of the CC and the image reproduction frequency of the measured monitor can be established via the V-Sync input.
