(Discontinued) CM-3500d Spectrophotometer
The bench top CM-3500D spectrophotometer is a multi-feature device that is capable of measuring color in a wide array of application including transmittance and reflectance. This device offers three interchangeable measuring aperture sizes (3mm, 8mm, and 30mm); choice is dependent on the application. Measuring transparent liquids and solids can be tricky; however, the transmission chamber makes the task easy and convenient. For tasks that require the measuring the reflectance of pastes, powders, solids, granular, or opaque liquids, users of the CM-3500D spectrophotometer will find the top-port a valuable feature. Users also have the choice of switching between SCE and SCI.
The CM-3500D spectrophotometer is compatible the SpectrMagic NX software. The SpectraMagic software is user friendly and displays multiple, editable views of data results. Two or more secondary targets can be associated with targeted data from a primary target; this capability coincides with sophisticated QC applications like checking for color differences.
The software works on a drag-and drop platform which allows for easy interpretation after printing. For displaying information there is a variety of graph available along with preconfigured templates. There is also a status window in which users may view instrument information. Information compiled through older software is compatible with current software and can easily be transferred; all data is Excel exportable. Included with the software are a Color Tutorial and a Navigation Function to provide users with additional information.
