The bench top CM-3700D spectrophotometer uses the latest technology for precision measuring that exceeds most industry color requirements even when scanning darker shades.

(Discontinued) CM-3700d Spectrophotometer

The CM-3700D Spectrophotometer is a bench top model that is precise and reliable. This device has a complete optical system that goes beyond industry standards along with aperture masks and a large sphere. Measurements are subjected to a high powered xenon flash to ensure the greatest level of accuracy. Depending on the application, users have the choice of switching between measuring areas; 25.4mm, 8mm, and 3x5mm.

The CM-3700D Spectrophotometer measures reflective colors with ease and can be switched from SCE and SCI effortlessly. This device’s UV cut filters allow the user to measure florescent colors via an automatic 1,000-step adjustment of UV light; this process provided excellent measurements of pulp, paper, and other florescent infused materials while transparent colors are effectively measured through diffused lighting. The impressive features of this device allow measurements to be taken form an array of materials including, but not limited to, textiles, plastics, kiln-fired materials, dyed items, food, and liquids.

The CM-3700D Spectrophotometer works well with Windows based computers via a USB connection. The device is compatible with a variety of Windows programs allowing for the easy editing and data management.

The CM-3700D Spectrophotometer is compatible the SpectrMagic NX software. The SpectraMagic software is user friendly and displays multiple, editable views of data results. Two or more secondary targets can be associated with targeted data from a primary target; this capability coincides with sophisticated QC applications like checking for color differences.

The software works on a drag-and drop platform which allows for easy interpretation after printing. For displaying information there is a variety of graph available along with preconfigured templates. There is also a status window in which users may view instrument information. Information compiled through older software is compatible with current software and can easily be transferred; all data is Excel exportable. Included with the software are a Color Tutorial and a Navigation Function to provide users with additional information.
