The Spectroradiometer CS-3000 series consists of three models: the Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR, the Spectroradiometer CS-3000, and the Spectroradiometer CS-2000Plus, offering high-precision and high-speed measurement of luminance and chromaticity of displays and other light sources, including extremely low luminance levels.

Spectroradiometer CS-3000 Series

The new Spectroradiometer CS-3000 Series, the successor to the Spectroradiometer CS-2000 Series, features three different models, the flagship Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR, the standard Spectroradiometer CS-3000, and the cost-effective Spectroradiometer CS-2000Plus, offers improved optical design and signal processing technology that enable accurate luminance and chromaticity measurement of today’s display devices and light sources, from TV and smartphone displays to smartwatch, etc.

The Spectroradiometer CS-3000 Series offers precise noise-suppressed measurements at low luminance levels, across the entire wavelength range, with recommended half-width values of 5 nm or less according to CIE (CIE 122-1996) guidelines. Furthermore, they offer accurate u’v’ measurements in the CIE 1976 UCS chromaticity diagram alongside the CIE 1931 xy chromaticity.

Wide Dynamic Range Measurement Capability (CS-3000HDR)

The Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR model is designed to cater to the demanding measurement requirements of modern advanced displays. It ensures precision measurement at the widely utilized 1° measurement angle for luminance and chromaticity measurements while supporting a broad dynamic range, covering exceptionally low to high luminance levels. Moreover, in addition to LCD and OLED displays, the Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR model is equipped with the capability to accurately measure the luminance and chromaticity of high dynamic range (HDR) displays employing micro- or mini-LEDs.

Shorter Measurement Time

The Spectroradiometer CS-3000 Series provides faster measurement speed than conventional spectroradiometers. It features various high-speed measurement modes and a new Intelligent Dark function, ensuring accuracy and reducing measurement time by skipping dark measurements. Notably, the Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR and Spectroradiometer CS-3000 models introduce the Super Fast mode, delivering even faster measurement calculations than the Fast mode and substantially reducing measurement time.

Measurement Angle Switching Function

The Spectroradiometer CS-3000 series provides users with a selection of measurement angle settings (1°, 0.2°, and 0.1°) based on their specific application. Of particular note is the powered measurement angle switching function of the Spectroradiometer CS-3000HDR and the Spectroradiometer CS-3000 that allows switching of measurement angle using communication commands, facilitating a seamlessly integrated into a fully automated measurement system.
